The Battersby Pod

A catchment consisting of a mix of 60% sheep, beef, cropping and 40% dairy, the 12 landowners are in the process of identifying potential areas of concern that could affect the waterways running through their properties depending on a variety of on farm and weather events.

Each is putting in place a plan of action to address what could become potential environmental areas of concern on their land and to identify improved farming practices they can implement to mitigate water quality deterioration.
